Ingredients

  • 1 bunch Mint Leaves        
  • 3 tbsp Bengal gram 
  • 4 tbsp Grated coconut
  • 1 No Green chilli   
  • As required   Salt          
  • 2 No Country Tomato
  • 2 tbsp Gingelly oil
  • As required Water

Instructions

  • Heat the oil in a pan, Saute mint leaves, green chilli, tomato and bengal gram until a fragrant aroma arises.
  • Add coconut to this mixture.
  • Add salt and grind into coarse paste.
  • Temper, if required, with mustard seeds, black gram, curry leaves and Asafoetida.

Do you know?
      The naturally occuring menthol in mint aids in the process of digestion. Mint leaves are consistent with enzymes which aid in digestion and It is a good expectorant for Cough the sputum from the lungs. The menthol in mint also kills bacteria in the mouth and thus prevents from bad odour
