Ingredients

  • 3 Cup Fox tail millet
  • 1 Cup Green Gram
  • 1 Piece Ginger Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp Pepper
  • 3 tbsp Curry Leaves Fresh
  • 1 tbsp (As Required) Salt Table salt
  • 100 ml Gingelly oil Cold press oil
  • 10 glass Water

Instructions

  • Fry the green gram.
  • Cook green gram with the millet in a steam cooker (4 Whistles) along with 10 glasses of water.
  • Temper the rest of the ingredients and add to the mixture.
  • Serve hot with coconut chutney and vegetables sambhar.

Notes

Note
      The dish can also be prepared using Little Millet (samai) and Kodo Millet (varagu).
