  • ½ Cup Wheatflour                  
  • 75 ml Water                                            
  • As required Salt  

Instructions

Method 1

  • How to obtain soft dough for Chappathi?
  • Always knead the Chappathi dough with sufficient water.
  • Wheat has a capacity to absorb more water.
  • Keep kneading for at least a ½ hour by adding water in small quantities until an elastic consistency is obtained.
  • Knead the dough at least three hours before making chappathi.
  • Cover hot with vegetable kurma.

Method 2:

  • Divide thedough into balls of equal size and dip them into some flour.
  • Roll the dough with a rolling pin until the batter resembles thin, round pancakes.
  • Heat the heavy frying pan, Tava, or griddle over medium flame and cook each chappathi on both sides.
  • Serve hot with vegetable kurma.
