100gmsSpinach (palak)
50gmsSplit Green Gram
2nosOnionmedium size chopped
2nosMedium size Whole
3nosGarlic
1tbspCumin seeds
1tbspCoriander seeds
1PinchTurmeric powder
1 noGreen Chilli
2tbspGingelly oil
150 mlWater
as requiredSalt
Instructions
Cook the green gram in a vessel with 100 ml of water along with a pinch of turmeric powder and a few drops of oil until 3/4'th done
Set aside, boil 50 ml of water in a vessel and soak the palak leaves in it for two minutes
Heat the oil in a pan
Fry Cumin seeds, Coriander seeds, Garlic, green chilli and onion
Saute the whole tomatoes in the remnant oil
Cool all the ingredients
Grind the palak leaves and rest of the ingredients followed by the green gram
serve hot
