Ingredients

  • 100 gms Greens (Amaranthus) Finely chopped
  • 100 gms split green gram
  • 2 Nos Onion Finely chopped
  • 2 Nos Tomatoes Finely chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric powder
  • ¼ tbsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 tbsp Bengal Gram
  • 1 no Green Chilli
  • 2 tbsp Gingelly Oil Use Cold Press
  • ½ tbsp Mustard seeds
  • ½ tbsp Split black gram
  • 250 ml Water
  • As Required Salt

Instructions

  • Cook the split green gram in 100 ml of water with a pinch of turmeric until almost done
  • Heat the oil in a pan
  • Fry Mustard Seeds, black gram, bengal gram, onion, green chilli and tomatoes in that order
  • Add the chopped greens and stir fry for 5-10 minutes
  • Add the cooked green gram, salt, cumin powder and water
  • Bring to boil, remove from stove, serve hot
