Ingredients

  • 250 gms Raw papaya Chopped
  • 100 gms Capsicum Chopped
  • 100 gms Tomato Chopped
  • 1 tbsp Gingelly oil
  • 1 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 Stalk Curry leaves
  • 2 pinches Pepper powder
  • 1 pinch Asafoetida
  • As Required Salt
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves Finely chopped
  • 1 ½ Cups Water
  • 2 tbsp Lemon juice

Instructions

  • Clean the papaya by removing the skin And seeds
  • Wash with sufficient water to remove the sticky milk in it.
  • Cut papaya and capsicum into pieces.
  • Pressure cook the cut pieces along with Tomatoes.
  • Remove from stove and let it cool.
  • Blend the ingredients in a blender and filter to obtain the pulp.
  • Heat oil in a pan, temper cumin seeds and Curry leaves.
  • Add the pulp, If needed add more water.
  • Bring it to boil.
  • Add asafoetida, pepper powder, salt and Coriander leaves.
  • Remove from stove.
  • Add lemon juice.
  • Serve hot

Notes

A glass of papaya juice, consumed every day, relieves constipation and enables easy digestion. It helps in weight reduction and gives soft and glowing skin.
