Gooseberry Chutney
Amla is an immunity booster since it high in vitamin C and has been for years to prepare Ayurveda Medicines. During the season Amla is available fresh and cheap in Indian markets. Indian Gooseberry is called as Amla in Hindi, Nellikai in Tamil & Kannada, Usirikaya in Telugu.

Ingredients
- 4 Nos Gooseberry's Fresh
- 4 tbsp Coconut Grated
- 1 Small Piece Green Chilli
- 1 tbsp Curry leaves powder
- ¼ tbsp Mustard Seeds
- ½ tbsp (As Required) Salt Table Salt
- ½ Cup (As Required) Water
Instructions
- Remove the seeds from the berries.
- Grind all the ingredients together in the mixer into a coarse paste.
- Temper with curry leaves and mustard seeds.
- Mix and Serve.

Health tip:
A glass of Amla juice can be prepared by using 3-4 medium sized amla and grinding it by adding a glass of water. This lowers blood sugar levels. Amla preserved in honey is a powerful antioxidant and vitaliser.
