Notes

A glass of cabbage juice on an empty stomach in the morning heals ulcers faster than any other medication. It can also be consumed in the form of soup.
Cabbage is rich in sulphur and hence, it can be used in effective treatment of ulcers. The rich amount of vitamins C, A and D and other polyphenols in cabbage helps keep the skin clear and healthy. The nutrients in the vegetables prevent the destruction of skin cells due to ultraviolet rays and help fight cancer. Red cabbages are more beneficial as the vitamin C content is about 6 to 8 times higher than in green cabbage.
